SIE Readiness Score

A useful readiness check explains what moved the result; it does not invent a probability of passing.

Get an explainable SIE practice-readiness band from your latest timed score, practice volume, days remaining, and weak content areas.

Check your practice position

A planning index, not a prophecy

Your readiness band appears here

We combine your timed score, practice volume, runway, and weak areas. No claimed pass probability and no guarantee.

How this works

Methodology

The index assigns up to 65 points to the latest timed score, 15 to practice volume, 10 to remaining runway, and 10 to the number of self-reported weak content areas. A strong band also requires a timed score of at least 75. The formula is a Lucky the Banker study-planning heuristic, not a validated prediction model.

Important caveat

Self-reported inputs can be incomplete, and practice tests vary in quality and difficulty. FINRA does not endorse this index. Use repeated timed performance and honest review of misses to make the final test-day decision.

Frequently asked questions

What practice score means I am ready for the SIE?

No single practice score guarantees a live result. Look for repeated, timed scores comfortably above FINRA’s passing-score threshold while also reviewing guesses and covering all four content areas.

Is this a pass-probability calculator?

No. The output is an explainable practice-readiness index based only on the inputs you provide. It is not trained or calibrated as a pass-probability model.

How many SIE practice questions should I complete?

There is no official required number. Enough deliberate practice should reveal your recurring weak areas, followed by review and repeated timed mixed sets.

What should I do if my readiness band is low?

Take a timed diagnostic, identify the two weakest areas, review the underlying rules, drill those topics, and then retest under timed conditions.
